Research Training Offered at the American Corners in Dekemhare and Keren

 

Research training at American Corner in Keren

The American Center’s Head Librarian traveled to the American Corners in Dekemhare and Keren to conduct training on “Introduction to the Library and the Internet” on January 4 and January 9 respectively.  Participants, which included both library staff and users, learned basic methods of doing research both with materials available in the libraries including books and periodicals as well as searching the worldwide web via the internet.

A similar training will be held at the American Corner in Massawa in the near future.

All three American Corners in Eritrea and the American Center in Asmara offer free internet access to library goers.
