Embassy Asmara Public Affairs honors International HIV/Aids Day at the Eritro-German Auditorium

On December 2, 2008, a BIDHO member gave captivating testimony regarding his seven-year survival with HIV. The speaker used humor and candor to educate the audience about prevention, healthcare, discrimination, and stigma. A health care provider also gave information regarding the proper care of HIV women during pregnancy in order to reduce the risk of HIV transmission from mother to child.
