The America Center of the U.S. Embassy in Eritrea  participated in the 7^th annual Eritrean Book Fair held at the Expo compound from March 14 – 23, 2008.  U.S. Embassy staff provided visitors to the booth with information on a variety of services the Center offers to the public. The Center also distributed free copies of more than 50 different types of books and brochures in both the English and Arabic languages. These publications covered a wide-range of subjects to include government, media and legal information, as well as extensive materials about the United States. The Center also distributed English teaching materials to all English language and school teachers who visited the U.S. Embassy’s display.

The U.S. Embassy’s America Center has participated in the Eritrean Book Fair for six years since the event’s inception in 2002.
