Tuesday, June 19, 2007 - Books Donated to RDC

On June 19, 2007, the Public Affairs Office of the U.S. Embassy in Eritrea donated reference materials to the Research and Documentation Center (RDC). Mr. Brian Shelbourn, Acting Public Affairs Officer, presented the donation to Wzo. Azieb Tewolde, Director of the RDC.
 
Wzo Azieb thanked the Public Affairs office for the donation and for its usual cooperation. She said the books will be open to the public as reference material and will be a good reference when they begin writing the history of Eritrea. She also conducted a tour to show how they are preserving archived materials by using different techniques and equipment.
