America Center Hosts Cyber Crime Workshop

Mr. Daniel discusses Cyber Crime

The U.S. Embassy’s American Center hosted a half-day workshop on “Cyber Crime” on February 14, 2008. Guest lecturer Daniel Ferede from the United Nations Mission for Ethiopia and Eritrea (UNMEE) provided a detailed presentation on the dangers and damaging effects of cyber crime for individuals and organizations using the Internet.  The 114 participants, hailing from various organizations and including librarians, teachers, organizational managers and students, benefited from Mr. Ferede’s expertise and insights. The program concluded with a lively question-and-answer session and refreshments.
