Dekemhare Visit by PA Specialist

Visit of Dekemhare American Corner Library

On March 26, the Public Affairs Specialist, Julie McClanahan and two PA staff visited the Dekemhare American Corner and other points of interest. The staff visited the Public Library, the Faith Mission Orphanage and School, the Eritrea Youth and Student Association Recreation Facility and the Don Bosco Technical School.

At the Dekemehare American Corner, which is located within the Dekemhare Public library, Ms. McClanahan was introduced to the Mayor.  During the visit the United States Embassy donated AV equipment and books to the library. The United States Embassy donated books to the Faith Mission Orphanage and School and to Don Bosco Technical School.

The Public Affairs Staff also provided information regarding different Grants to programs in need.
