The Ambassador’s Special Self-Help Fund has assisted 46 woman-headed families in Gahro, Southern Red Sea. Through a 141,315 Nakfa grant provided by the U.S. Embassy, the Ministry of Agriculture has been able to purchase and distribute 232 dairy goats to 46 needy families, mostly women-headed, in the Gahro community in the Southern Red Sea Zoba. Each family has received four female goats, and one male. These dairy goats will provide milk for each family's consumption.
