Several different organizations in funding sewing schools for underprivileged groups, computer training classes, and library furniture and equipment;
A local school in forwarding their youth education program about Female Genital Mutilation (FGM);
Eritrea’s Diabetic Association for printing informational pamphlets about the disease;
The Eritrean Agricultural Association with purchase of office equipment to assist its organization’s members;
A local community in digging a well; and

Ambassador McMullen commended the grant recipients on their valuable work, noting the tremendous contributions individuals and civil society organizations can make in their communities.
