Events Calendar for Next Month

The American Center offers a wide variety of programs open to all the public:

• Every Wednesday, the U.S. Embassy in Asmara sponsors free American Movie Night at the Eritro-German Auditorium.
  
  Time:  4:00 p.m. for children age 7 and older. Children under 7 should be accompanied by an adult.
  6:30 p.m. for adults
  
  

• The last Thursday each month, the American Club holds its meeting at the Eritro-German Auditorium.  Various topics are discussed by fascinating speakers, followed by a lively audience discussion. 
  
  Time:  6:30 p.m.
  
  
• On the second and fourth Saturday of every month, internet training is offered to adults who are new to the internet world.  Please register with receptionist beforehand.
  
  Time: 2:30-3:30 p.m.
  
  
• Every Tuesday and Thursday, children are introduced to the computer.
  
  Time: 9:30-10:30 a.m. and 4:30-5:30 p.m.
  
  
• Every third Saturday of each month, we offer a quiz for anyone who is interested.  Please register with the receptionist beforehand.
  
  Time: Quiz starts at 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
  
  
• Every third Thursday of each month, the Book Club meets to share ideas on the book of the month.
  
  Time:  6:30 p.m.
