TOWN HALL MEETING
U.S. Embassy Asmara
April 17, 2008

All Americans are invited to join Ambassador Ronald K. McMullen and Embassy Staff for an all American community meeting at the U.S. Embassy on Thursday, April 17, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.
The meeting is an opportunity for the American citizen community to meet Ambassador McMullen and for Embassy staff to brief on current developments, the security situation, local health matters, public events, and the status of the closed visa section. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions of Ambassador McMullen and Embassy staff.
The U.S. Embassy is located on 179 Ala Street. Please use the back entrance for the event. For security reasons, you must bring your U.S. passport for admission. Bags, backpacks, purses, cameras, and cell phones are not/not allowed on the Embassy compound, and the U.S. Embassy assumes no responsibility for items left outside.
After the meeting, you are all invited to stay for the U.S. Embassy’s monthly Happy Hour.  This event is a cash bar. Soda will available for 20 Nakfa. Asmara beer will be available for 10 Nakfa, as will imported beer and wine for 40 Nakfa.
